# Site visits: what to expect
## How visits are booked and how to get your site ready. Meta description: What to expect for Matterport scans, drone flights and moisture mapping visits, and how to prepare your site.
Matterport scans, drone flights and moisture mapping visits are booked ahead. You'll get a calendar invite with the job address and a reminder email the day before.
To help the visit go smoothly:
- Make sure we can get in: share gate codes, lockbox details or who will meet us on site.
- Tell us about every structure to cover (main house, garage, casita, accessory buildings).
- For Matterport scans: turn on all lights and open blinds, open interior doors to every room to be scanned, clear floors of anything you don't want in the model, and let us know about pets, occupants or restricted areas.
- For drone flights: flights depend on weather and airspace. If weather moves your flight, we'll reschedule with you.
Need to reschedule? Please give us 48 hours' notice through the client portal or by letting our team know.
